When Robert Wallingford, P.Eng. founded RoJo Construction Management Inc. in 1993, he wanted to create an environment where a general contracting and construction management company would strive on building strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and employees alike.
For over 20 years the company has worked with a variety of clients from both large and small businesses to bring out the best of their clients’ business. Our services include:
- Construction Management
- Lump Sum Contracts
- Service Construction
- Maintenance Construction
The company’s success is evident in many of the employees and subcontractors who have been with RoJo Construction since its formation. The company’s talented team incorporates a variety of experiences, ages and skills, from hands-on work to business and management.
The team understands that each client has their own expectations, requirements and concerns while planning and executing their projects. Those at RoJo work hard to develop strong relationships, adapting to, and planning for each scenario while allowing the client to maintain their day-to-day operations.
Robert Wallingford, P.Eng., graduated from Carleton University with a degree in Civil Engineering and ten years later founded RoJo Construction. Since then he has managed more than 200 projects, gradually directing his business towards commercial buildings and renovation projects. The business has successfully completed work for Costco Wholesale, Baton Rouge, TD Bank, CIBC, Maple Leaf Properties and Algonquin College—to name a few.
Robert’s favourite project in recent memory was the renovation of, and addition to, the Fort Wellington museum in Prescott, Ontario.
Since joining RoJo Construction in 2004, Nicolas Rooney, a business and marketing graduate from Fleming College, has managed numerous projects including car dealerships, Costco Wholesale, City of Ottawa buildings and more than 10 restaurants.
