This was a unique project beginning with demolition of the existing welding shop teaching facility including all equipment, mechanical and electrical systems. Once the space was cleared out RoJo constructed a new floor assembly at the second floor level to infill the existing two-story space to two single stories. There were significant structural members to be installed that had to be brought into the facility through the man doors and maneuvered through the corridors in the space and in place. Forklifts were used to coordinate these efforts. Once completed the welding shop on the ground floor was put back together with all of the existing equipment and the space on the second story was ready for a tenant improvement.
