Costco Hearing Centre
An addition and renovation to the Costco warehouse retail store in Nepean. This project involved the construction of pre-cast panels as wall assemblies under an existing canopy used for the roof assembly. The project was completed beside the stores front entrance while the business was operational. Hoarding and signage were used to control public access and keep the site safe and organized. While a small project there were complicated assemblies and access on this project that made it unique. The precast panels were installed from a new foundation onto a steel structure erected in the course of this construction project. To get the panels in place a large forklift was used to maneuver them as there was a canopy assembly in the way to use a crane as normally done.
