Lumentum
RoJo Construction was hired as a construction management company to coordinate the split of JDSU’s physical space into two operations, one for Lumentum and the other for Viavi. The project was completed in a compressed schedule, phased construction model around the client’s daily operations. The project was executed successfully in a very short timeframe including the concept, design, permit and execution stages. The client received a successful delivery and was quite happy with the final product, the execution and the team as a whole. The project includes significant office space, private offices, conference rooms and high-tech labs with sophisticated equipment and assemblies. Due to the corporate split there was a very specific date that had to be met to have the two operations in their own spaces. The project schedule was compressed and done far faster than a conventional schedule would dictate.
